Newcastle Youth Orchestra presents their first concert for the season, exploring music across the globe. Climb aboard with NYO, Pumpkin Juice and Captain James Laundon as we visit France, Ireland, America and Hungary, and explore the works of Saint-Saens, Brahms and a whole lot more! Bring the kids and your imagination as we enjoy a wonderful afternoon of music making and giant puppetry!

Newcastle Youth Orchestra is going on tour! Taking their first concert to Port Macquarie in New South Wales, the orchestra will bring the world to the mid north coast through as we visit a range of composers. With Captain James Laundon, Celtic fiddlers Pumpkin Juice and the giant sized puppets, the orchestra are bound for destinations beyond the classics!

Newcastle Youth Orchestra presents a program of patriotic works inspired by London's own Last Night at the Proms. With a premiere of an original work by young Newcastle composer William Jeffery, Derek Bourgeios virtuosic trombone concerto performed by the orchestra's very own queen of the lower brass Hannah Gibbons, and other well-known proms favourites for you to join in- don't forget your finest British attire!
