Newcastle Wind Orchestra

The Newcastle Wind Orchestra is a space for musicians to develop their musical skills in a supportive, yet challenging, atmosphere. This group allows musicians to perform wind band repertoire in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

NWO is an ensemble for players above 16 years of age. We recommend that members are at least Grade 5 AMEB standard or equivalent for this ensemble.

Newcastle Youth Orchestra

Newcastle Youth Orchestra motivates and inspires emerging young performers through a diverse and challenging repertoire of orchestral music. We provide high-quality ensemble training, in a happy, safe, inclusive and rewarding environment.

NYO is an ensemble for 14-25 year-olds. We recommend students are at least Grade Seven AMEB standard or equivalent for this ensemble.

Newcastle Youth Orchestra for KIDS

Newcastle Youth Orchestra for KIDS aims to foster children's musical skills and ability to play as part of an ensemble in a safe and nurturing environment.

NYO for Kids is an ensemble for 10 to 15-year-olds. We recommend that students are at least Grade Two AMEB standard or equivalent for this ensemble.
